Jacquie Storey

Jacquie Storey, started dancing in her home town of Brighton before training at the Arts Educational School in London with Dame Ninette de Valois, Arlene Phillips, Ivor Megido and many others, who influenced her greatly. 

At the age of sixteen Jacquie was the English National Ballet Champion and made her first appearance in the West End.  An accomplished singer and dancer, she headlined in major productions alongside a career as a choreographer and director which continues to this day. For many years Jacquie ran a large theatre school in Sussex whilst bringing up her four children.

Currently Jacquie is Artistic Advisor of Dance World Cup UK, an adjudicator for The British Federation of Festivals and All England Dance and is Chair of Sussex Festival of Performing Arts. 

Jacquie gives regular talks on the ‘Craft of the Choreographer’ and still performs, recently appearing with Jenny Eclair, Ruby Wax, Matt Berry and Frank Skinner. In 2015 Jacquie produced concerts at Folkington Manor with Ruthie Henshall and Alexander Armstrong. Recent  productions as Choreographer include  “What a Performance” for the BBC, “Toast of London” for Channel 4 and a 60th Anniversary Concert Performance of “My Fair Lady” in the West End featuring Anthony Andrews and Kara Tointon.

Jacquie is married to Dr Harry Brunjes and they have four children. Jacquie played a pivotal role in supporting Harry to build his business Premier Medical, which they sold in in 2010 and brought back again in 2016!

In more recent years Jacquie has served on the board of The Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance, The Development Council of Southwark Cathedral and is a trustee of Chailey Heritage in Sussex.

Today Jacquie directs the family business at Folkington Manor in Sussex, which regularly presents shows as well as hosting weddings, events and corporate functions.

Harry, is Chairman of The English National Opera at the London Coliseum and Lancing College. Jacquie has enjoyed supporting Harry in both institutions.

Their four children are all working in the arts!

Emma and Ralph jointly run Emma Brunjes Productions and ebp live. They were nominated for an Olivier award for Alice’s Adventures Underground in 2016. 

Harry is a global ambassador for Parker Pen as well as a writer and film director. 

Eric is a musician and music producer. He is married to Natasha and he owns attack, an on line music magazine.
